Picking an RV destination is sometimes one of the easiest things to do – and sometimes one of the most difficult. Where you choose to go depends on what you want to do on your vacation. If you want to experience nature at its best, then you might choose some remote areas for camping. If you prefer to go sightseeing, you might pick a location nearer to a major tourist area.

You’ll have a view of Mt. Katahdin, a boat launch, flush toilets, showers, Laundromat, a dumping station and more.

Enjoy boating, swimming, hiking and fishing for salmon, white perch, brook trout and lake trout. Once you register at the campground, you’ll have access to the Gulf Hagas, Gauntlet Falls, Appalachian Trail and about 70 remote lakes and ponds. Bangor is 67 miles away, and Mt. Katahdin and Baxter Park are about 50 miles north.

If you want to see Loretta Lynn in concert and have a great weekend – or spend a week at her home, reserve your spot at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. The sites vary – there are some with full hookup and 50-amp service, some with water and electric with 30-amp service, and some primitive sites.
