Hurry and get out there! While many areas of New York are currently near peak or at peak, whole swathes of the state are already past peak. Now is the perfect time to fire up the RV and see the foliage that the state has to offer.
Looming above Lake George Village, truly spectacular views await at the summit. You can drive your RV up the toll road near the summit and then hike the rest of the way (a gentle 1.5 miles on the Prospect Mountain Trail).

Head to Catskill Forest Preserve for the foliage and the scenery. Not only are the leaves in full fall color, but the surrounding area is gorgeous, with waterfalls and mountains.
