Pumpkin Picking and Corn Maze Fun – All October in Stanley, NY

Every Saturday and Sunday in October, you can go to a legitimate pumpkin patch and corn maze in Stanley.

It’s fall harvest time – but it’s also a chance to play in the crops. Challenge yourself to find your way through the corn maze, and when you’re done, pick out your pumpkins for Halloween and fall decorating. It’s a family fun event that has even more to offer for the kids. Stop by and check out the fun!

Open 10am to 6pm.

Flaming Leaves Festival – October 8-9 in Lake Placid, NY

The annual two-day Flaming Leaves Festival features exciting competition between North America’s top ski jumping talent. Festival-goers will enjoy a spectacular show with soaring ski jumpers in the sky and live Blues, delicious brews and tasty barbecue below. The festival offers entertainment for all ages including lawns games, specialty craft vendors and a combined chairlift and elevator ride up the 120-meter ski jump.  At the top, experience magnificent views of peak Adirondack Fall foliage as surrounding hills and mountains are highlighted by brilliant reds, oranges and yellows. Sat 10am-4pm & Sun 9:30am-4pm. Admission is $16.

Peek’n Peak Fall Festival – October 8-16 in Clymer, NY

Every Saturday and Sunday between October 8 and 16, come to the fall festival and enjoy Craft Show, farmers market, pumpkin cannon, children’s crafts and activities. Plus, the Annual Season Ski Pass Sale, entertainment, ski lift rides, petting zoo, snow sports equipment swap, horse-drawn rides, pony rides, and more!

Admission is free!
